I saw what seemed like a giant hand tearing down cathedrals and buildings with steeples. Then out of the ruins rose a magnificent gleaming shining building. I knew it was the temple in Jerusalem. The building kept rising until part of it was in heaven and also on earth.
I felt the Lord telling me that the cathedrals and buildings with steeples represent the traditions and religions tying people down, religion without power. God is tearing down all religion and from their ruins – people who have had their religion torn down – will rise a magnificent edifice, the church of God. God made me understand that these cathedrals are man made creations but the temple was built according to the specifications He (God) laid out.
Some days later, I saw myself standing far off and in the distance I saw the temple in the first picture. I felt the Lord tell me that the ‘religionless’ church He is building will be visible from anywhere. He said that He was making Himself famous once again.
I saw a picture of what looked like a wall of water flowing down from heaven into the church where there was a little fire. The more the water flowed into the fire, the bigger and brighter it burned. I thought the picture went against all the laws of physics. Then the Lord made me understand that it is only with Him that water and fire go together. It is only with him that water fuels the fire.
In this picture, I feel God showing me that he is pouring His Spirit and anointing not in showers but in walls of water, thick streams not just gentle trickles. This downpour is going to ignite and fuel a mighty flame in the hearts of the church.
I feel there is a relationship between this and 1 Kings 18 but I’m not so sure what it is.
1Ki 18:34-39 “And he said, Do it the second time. And they did it the second time. And he said, Do it the third time. And they did it the third time. 35 And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water. 36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word. 37 Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again. 38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. 39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.”
I had this picture a long time ago specifically for The Sanctuary.
During worship I saw an image of the statue of liberty. I asked God what the statue of liberty represents and He said: “It represents freedom – immigration- Leaving a place of bondage and trouble, a place of sorrow and pain – leaving that place to a place of opportunity, a place of freedom.” God is saying to His people “you are set free, if you feel you are in a place of pain, in a troubled place I am bringing you to a place of freedom – a land of possibility” This is the inscription on the statue of liberty.
Not like the brazen giant of Greek fame, With conquering limbs astride from land to land; Here at our sea-washed, sunset gates shall stand A mighty woman with a torch, whose flame Is the imprisoned lightning, and her name MOTHER OF EXILES. From her beacon-hand Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame. "Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she With silent lips. "GIVE ME YOUR TIRED, YOUR POOR, YOUR HUDDLED MASSES YEARNING TO BREATHE FREE, THE WRETCHED REFUSE OF YOUR TEEMING SHORE. SEND THESE, THE HOMELESS, TEMPEST-TOST TO ME, I LIFT MY LAMP BESIDE THE GOLDEN DOOR!"
I was asking that God break the chains on people’s lives in church and He said that the chains have already been broken, that that is not the issue. The thing is that He is moving people to the land of freedom and opportunity. He has already broken the chains binding the people to the old lands and the old sorrows and the old pain and the old hurt. He has already broken the chains.
He said “it is not my will that any, I say ANY of My children should go through pain and hurt. It is not My will that any of My children is bound to pain and hurt. It is not My will that any of My children remain in pain and hurt but to rejoice in Me always. I am calling to Myself a cheerful army. I am calling to Myself an army that is not bound, a free army.”
The picture I am seeing is one of an army marching and laughing. Not a ‘serious’ bunch but a people filled with the joy of the Lord. And though they do not look like a normal army, no army can accomplish as much as them. (The joy of the Lord is their STRENGHT) In this picture, I also see those girls that usually sit on the couch towards the air conditioner (I don’t know their names) I see them laughing a lot.
It is amazing what a moment in God's presence can do. It is amazing what a day in God's presence can do – how about a lifetime!
About 10 years ago God gave me a message in some verses in the bible and I really did not know what to do with it so I kept it away and forgot it. Recently (a few days ago) he gave me the message again after impressing it on my heart for a couple of months. The message is in Isaiah:
”And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.” 2:2-3
Then today I watched Morningstar Ministries' Harvest Conference and Winkie Pratney read from Micah 4: 1-2 ”But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it. And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.”
Wow! I felt the confirmation of God's Word. Pratney was talking about this generation being on the verge of a mighty revival.
God has been pressing on my mind Romans 8:19 says: ”For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. This is the beginning of a new and powerful move of God, where His sons shall be manifested as chief among all others – nations shall flow unto them. God is going to move mightily beyond our imagination. Anyone who refuses to serve Him will know that he is making a conscious decision, a conscious choice, not to serve God.”
Jesus said: ”Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (Joh 14:12)
How wonderful that God has called us, even us, to this. It is time that the Church begins to take its place as the light of the world and the salt of the earth. No longer will the children of God be a people that will be sneered upon. This is the time that they will stand up as the light that they are: the light, the beacon of hope in the earth. They shall give a dying and empty world life, fullness and flavor.
The time is at hand that the Church will take its place in creation. It will not be an issue of numbers, though there will be. It will be an issue of the Power of The Lord. It shall not be an issue of politics or leadership in man's affairs but of the tangible and real kingship of Jesus. HALLELUJAH
I look into my life and decide that rather than look at myself and at my past and at my foolishness and failures, instead of wallowing in self-pity, I should look up at the Author of Creation. I should look around me and see that I am in the hollow of his hands. I need to look beyond myself because there is nothing in me that will accomplish His design. It is all about Jesus and not me. (funny that is the song playing on my mp3 player right now) I have decided to put all selfishness aside and spend myself on Christ.
JESUS IS BEAUTIFUL
”And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood,(the atoning blood of Christ) and fire,(the power of the Spirit) and vapor of smoke.” (Act 2:17-19)
